* In cases where the request is well-grounded and the case value is under 200 000 HUF the Budapest Conciliation Board may decide on an obligation equivalent to a court judgment that the business is obliged to comply even in the absence of a declaration of submission.
If the Budapest Conciliation Board held a hearing in your case, would you prefer an online or a personal hearing?
If the President of the Budapest Conciliation Board orders a written procedure there will be no (personal/online) hearing. Please, make a statement if you consent to the conduct of a written procedure*.
*In case of a written procedure the Budapest Conciliation Board will contact you (the consumer) and the business involved in writing, and the parties will be informed about the decision in writing as well.

Documents necessary for submitting an online request:
- Invoices/ receipts/transfer certificates,
- A written document that certifies that the consumer has tried to settle his dispute with the business (a written statement of the business that it has rejected the complaint),
- Any other evidentiary documents (photos, correspondences, contracts etc.),
- A consumer authorization, if an authorized person will act on your behalf instead of you.
