The Business Working Group that has been launched by the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and the Budapest Conciliation Board keeps on operating in 2025 as well.
The first session took place on 30 January, and its goal was to identify regulatory challenges of consumer protection with the inclusion of businesses and develop constructive suggestions for legislators.

The activity of the Working Group is supported by the FAIRCOMADR EU grant
that helps to improve consumer protection in Hungary with the help of alternative
dispute resolution tools. Prior to the event several important suggestions on topics had arrived from the businesses invited, confirming the fact that consumer protection is a complex area where the interests of businesses are given a prominent role.
We would like to express our thanks to all participants who contributed to the professional dialogue! Further sessions of the Working Group will continue in April, September and December 2025.
