In 2025, the Budapest Conciliation Board (BBT) supported the harmonisation of its members’ professional work and the continuous improvement of day-to-day case handling through internal professional sessions. The programme focused on processing experiences from the online/hybrid procedural environment, the practical monitoring of legislative changes, and knowledge-sharing based on case experience. All of this was implemented within the framework of the BBT’s EU-funded project “Promoting Fair Commercial Practices through Alternative Dispute Resolution in Hungary (FAIRCOMADR)”.
On 6 October 2025, an internal professional event entitled “Tracking Changes in Practice – Experiences with Legislative Amendments” was held in a hybrid format. Its purpose was to develop a shared interpretation of recent legislative changes and to support their consistent application in daily case management. Case-based discussions enabled participants to identify the practical implications of the amendments, share operational experiences arising in proceedings, and align procedural steps.
A key topic was the fine-tuning of case-handling and decision-preparation processes: participants reviewed procedural points affected by the changes, as well as solutions that strengthen more consistent legal application and more predictable, transparent professional operations. Internal knowledge-sharing and a common professional understanding contribute to ensuring that the BBT continues to support the out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes in a fast, professional, and accessible manner for the parties involved.
